Information we collect

• Property location details such as suburb, city, postcode and region
• Details about your hot-water system, the issue and your timeframe
• Any additional notes you choose to provide
• Your privacy consent and the date and time it was given

We also collect limited technical and analytics information, such as pages visited and campaign attribution parameters (for example UTM tags), to understand how the site is used.

Why we collect it

The primary purpose is to process your enquiry and connect you with a suitable independent hot-water service provider who can respond to your request. We also use information to communicate with you about your enquiry, to maintain records, to prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions, and to improve our services.

Sharing with service providers

By submitting an enquiry and providing consent, you agree that the details you supply may be shared with one or more independent service providers operating in your area so that they can contact you about your request.

These providers are independent businesses. They handle your information under their own privacy practices once it has been provided to them. We do not sell personal information for unrelated marketing purposes.

Other disclosures

We may share information with service partners who help us operate the platform (for example hosting and email delivery), or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Storage and security

Information is stored on infrastructure we control and access is limited to authorised personnel. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not make guarantees about security outcomes.
