A connection platform

HotWaterUpgrades is a connection and referral platform. We publish information about hot-water options in New Zealand and pass customer enquiries to independent service providers who may be able to assist.

HotWaterUpgrades does not install, repair, inspect or maintain hot-water systems, and does not carry out plumbing, gasfitting or electrical work.

Independent providers

• Providers are independent businesses, not employees or agents of HotWaterUpgrades
• Providers issue their own quotes and set their own pricing and terms
• Providers are responsible for their own workmanship, compliance and licensing
• Any contract for work is between you and the provider

No obligation

Requesting a quote is free and places you under no obligation. You are not required to accept any quote or engage any provider that contacts you.

Availability is not guaranteed

We cannot guarantee that a provider will be available in your area, that you will be contacted within a particular timeframe, or that any specific service or price will be offered. Coverage depends on the providers active in your region at the time.

Your responsibilities

• Verify a provider's qualifications, insurance and quote before engaging them
• Use the site lawfully and not for automated or abusive submissions

To the extent permitted by law, HotWaterUpgrades is not liable for the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing or conduct of independent providers, or for loss arising from reliance on general information published on this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 where they apply.
